Ambassadors
St. Francis Borgia High School Ambassadors are student leaders who strive for high academic standards and who desire to serve the Borgia community and the community
at large.
The Borgia Ambassadors are role models who encourage others to be dedicated and positive student leaders. Students selected will be representatives of SFBHS, and will assist in the positive promotion of Borgia. A Borgia student ambassador must have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to assist with extra-curricular activities. Being a Borgia student Ambassador requires you to adhere to both the Mission and Vision Statements and to adhere to all standards of conduct as outlined in the Student Handbook. Mrs. Moira Vossbrink is the moderator of the Student Ambassadors.
Student Ambassadors may be asked to volunteer for the following events:
- Shadow program
- Building Tours
- Back to School Night
- High School Nights
- Open House
- Parent/Teacher Conference Night
- Grandparent’s Gathering
- Freshman Registration
Responsibilities:
- As a primary representative of St. Francis Borgia High School, several responsibilities will be placed on Student Ambassadors.
- Positively represent the Borgia student body.
- Serve as an ambassador from the student body to prospective students and families.
- Assist in recruiting students from local and surrounding partner schools.
- Promote the spirituality of Borgia.
- Be willing to assist and support all departments and organizations of SFBHS.
- Network with community organizations and businesses to promote Borgia.
- Possess knowledge of our school.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and positive attitude
- Good discipline standing
- Willingness to make SFBHS a better place
- Completed application
