Borgia Endowment Fund
St. Francis Borgia High School is one of the few Archdiocesan high schools to be blessed with an Endowment Fund. In 1989, with a strong vision for the future, a group of committed Borgia friends and alumni organized a fund drive to establish an Endowment to benefit our students. The Secure the Future capital campaign successfully raised $1.6 million. Since its inception, guided by a Board of Trustees, the Endowment Fund has distributed over $3 million to Borgia. As of January 2023, the fund has grown to $4.6 million.

Why is the Endowment Fund so important?
Income from the Endowment provides critical support to many areas of Borgia. Our Endowment Fund helps ensure that our curriculum, facilities, technology, and a wide range of other areas remain strong. -
Why should I support the Endowment?
When you make a gift to the Endowment Fund, you are affirming your belief in our mission and supporting the vision for the future. Donors should support causes that have special meaning to them; we hope that Borgia is such a cause for you.
Supporting the Endowment is a wonderful way to provide a lasting and meaningful gift in remembrance of a special person while helping others in need. Many people appreciate the opportunity to make a gift in memory of a special person, knowing that their donation honors the life of the individual and also supports a purpose that their loved one held dear.
Gifts to the Endowment Fund provide a full charitable tax deduction. -
How can I make a gift to the Endowment Fund?
There are many ways to support the Endowment. You may choose to make a cash gift, or you may transfer a gift of securities or real estate. If you would rather not make a gift today, you can still make a lasting contribution by funding the Endowment with a bequest in your will or living trust. Are there ways to use my life insurance as a gift?
You may name the Endowment Fund as a beneficiary by assigning ownership of a policy to us. Life insurance can allow you to be more generous than you ever thought possible! Contact our Advancement Office or your insurance agent for details.
